Radar images [LIVE RADAR | JUN 22 2013 0321 CDT] show a large line of thunderstorms and rain from Lake Michigan to central South Dakota. Rain began about 3:00 a.m. in Arlington Heights with storms growing especially in Kane County and west of Kane County. Except for northwest Cook County, most of Cook County is staying dry. A stationary front is located across central Wisconsin and western Iowa. Storms will definitely continue through at least 6:00 a.m., and while National Weather Service forecasters have low to medium confidence the storms will continue to build through morning, the amount of storm development overnight and the large area of precipitation to the west of our area, point to a continuation of rain into the morning hours.
