Arlington Heights police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 7:30 PM Thursday to a report of a house fire in the block of 1400 North Salem Boulevard Arlington Heights, IL. Police and firefighter/paramedics responded to a house fire.
No injuries reported.
Firefighters quickly extinguished the fire and opened the roof to ventilate heat and gases in the house. Considerable damage occurred to at least one second floor room.
Palatine firefighters responded as automatic aid to the Sherwood neighborhood. Prospect Heights firefighters stood by at Arlington Heights Station 2 to protect Arlington Heights in case of any additional fires.
