Chad Johnson really did inflict serious damage on Evelyn Lozada — and TMZ has the shocking photos.
NFL Wide Receiver, Chad Johnson, who last played for the New England Patriots, was recently sentenced 30 days in a Florida Court for patting his attorney on the butt in court.
Johnson was standing before the bench with his attorney during a plea deal on Monday June 10, 2013 with Broward County Judge Kathleen McHugh presiding. Johnson and attorney were attempting to avoid jail time after probation violations stemming from a domestic violence charge involving his then wife Evelyn Lozada. However, as Judge McHugh was getting ready to adjudicate the matter, Johnson patted his attorney on the butt. The Judge thought Johnson was trying to amuse the court. She sentenced him to 30 days in the slammer, but one week later, accepted Johnson’s apology and released him.
Johnson played college football for both Santa Monica College and Oregon State University. He was drafted by the Cincinnati Bengals in the second round of the 2001 NFL Draft, and played for the Bengals for ten seasons. He was cut during tryouts with the Miami Dolphins when word of the domestic battery came to light. He is currently a free agent.
Evelyn Lozada is one of the six main cast members in the VH1 reality series Basketball Wives since its premiere in 2010.
The couple divorced on September 19, 2012 — a little more than a month after Johnson’s arrest on domestic battery charges.
