Arlington Heights police received a report about 8:52 AM Friday of a vehicle burglary at Cooper’s Hawk, 798 West Algonquin Road Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders burglarized a Mercedes compact luxury crossover SUV.
Offender(s) shattered the front passenger side window on a black 2013 Mercedes GLK 350 and removed a red Coach purse which was left under the front passenger seat. The damage to the widow is estimated at $500. The red Coach purse, which was valued at $400, contained a Kate Spade wallet ($200), Kate Spade sunglasses ($200), Marc Jacob sunglasses ($200), Coach make-up bag ($100), black Apple iPad 2 ($699), approximately $300 cash, checkbook, I.D., credit/debit cards and keys. A credit card obatain from the vehicle burglary was used at a gas station in Maywood, IL.
The crime is reported to have occurred on Tuesday May 21, 2013 between 8:35 p.m.-9:50 p.m.
