Britain’s Prince Harry is spending most of his week in the U.S. honoring those wounded and killed in war. On Friday, the prince visited Arlington National Cemetery and will then head to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.
United Kingdom’s Prince Harry paid honor to American troops today, visiting Arlington National Cemetery and laying wreaths near the grave sites of two U.S. soldiers.
Prince Harry of Wales, 28, known as Captain Wales in the British army and a helicopter pilot who has served in Afghanistan, visited Section 60 at Arlington National Cemetery. Section 60 is the burial ground for service members killed in Afghanistan and Iraq since 2001. Prince Harry of Wales arrived in his blue dress uniform with sky-blue cap and kept his hands behind his back in formal royal and military stance.
Prince Harry of Wales also visited the Tomb of the Unknown soldier and visits today the Walter Reed Medical Center to meet with wounded veterans and tour the prosthetics and rehabilitation center.
Prince Harry also laid a wreath at the grave site of President John F. Kennedy and the location of the eternal flame.
