Arlington Heights police received a report about 4:50 PM Thursday of a residential burglary in the block of near 2700 North Ridge Avenue Arlington Heights, Il. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders burglarized a home. A resident arrived home to find the rear door open. The resident left the house and waited for police to arrive to check the house in case the offender was still inside.
