Arlington Heights police arrested a DUI driver about 8:50 PM Saturday near the intersection of Arlington Height Road and Sigwalt St Arlington Heights, IL. Police observed a van swerve right and strike a curb at on southbound Arlington Heights Road, just south of Northwest Highway. During a traffic stop police observed that an odor of alcohol was coming from the car and from the female driver’s breath.
Police arrested Rori P. Scheffler, age 65, of the 100 block of South Arlington Heights Road.
The driver’s silver 2003 Chevy Venture van was towed to a police holding area.
Felony aggravated DUI charges were approved because of a previous DUI conviction.

Aggravated DUI for having no valid driver’s license.
Aggravated DUI for driving with a license suspended or revoked.
Aggravated DUI for having no insurance.

Improper lane usage
Operating an uninsured vehicle.
