Rolling Meadows police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 11:10 AM Sunday to a vehicle vs. pole crash with lines down at Meacham Road and Old Plum Grove Road, Rolling Meadows, IL. Firefighter/paramedics received a report that a blue SUV crashed into an electric pole with power lines down. Firefighters and police arrived on the scene and requested an urgent response from Com Ed. When they approached the vehicle, they found no people inside the SUV.
No crash victim was found at the scene. Police are investigating.
Roadway and/or lane blockage along Meacham Road near Old Plum Grove Road was reported.
