Each year the Arlington Heights Garden Club tries to award at least one $1500 academic scholarship to assist local students.
Applications for the Arlington Heights Garden Club Scholarship Award are due on May 1st, with recipients announced by mid-June. Primary consideration is given to applicants pursuing study in the fields of landscape architecture, horticulture, botany, forestry, agriculture, and environmental science. Only students residing in Arlington Heights and the area covered by Township High School 214 are eligible.
The AHGC has awarded academic scholarships to 20 outstanding students since 2003.
