Arlington Heights police responded about 5:30 p.m. Monday to a report of a vehicle burglary that just occurred at Kiddy Learning Station, in the block of 1300 West Algonquin Road Arlington Heights, IL Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders burglarized a silver 2011 Honda Pilot within a short time period. Police received the immediately recent theft of a black 10″x10″ coach purse valued at $300, a beige leather credit card wallet valued at $100, credit cards, debit cards. drivers license, a Social Security card and $500 in various gift cards. Also, a Canon digital camera valued at $200 was taken from the vehicle.
One of the credit cards was used at Nordstrom at Woodfield Mall to charge approximately $3,000 worth of items.
The offender was described as a male/Hispanic, 50-55 years-old, 5’7″ 185 LBS, wearing a black jacket, a red and blue baseball cap, and reading glasses
A second offender used another credit card at Macy’s. The second offender was described as a male/Asian 5’4″ 150 LBS in his late 30s or early 40s. The offender also had pierced ears and was wearing hoop earrings. The offender purchased a Movado watch and a Tag Heuer watch, totaling a $2800.
A third credit card was also used Sears, but no purchase information was available.
The crime is reported to have occurred on February 4, 2013 between 5:14 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.
