Arlington Heights police received a report about 1:30 PM Monday of retail theft attempt that just occurred at Walgreens, 1000 East Northwest Highway Arlington Heights, IL . Police received a report that an offender removed two T-Mobil Sparqs (monthly prepaid phones) valued at $49.99 each. The offender left the store and activated the theft alarm. He put both phones down after an employee followed him out of the building. The property was recovered.
The crime is reported to have occurred on February 11, 2013 at 1:30 p.m.
The offender was described as a male/black 30 years-old, 6’3″ 180 LBS with no facial hair, wearing eyeglasses, a brown coat, and a black knit cap.
