The father of the man who was killed in a drive-by shooting on the Las Vegas Strip on Thursday says he son’s death is a ‘big thing’ and police won’t just stand by without working to find the person responsible.
Rapper Kenny Clutch, 27, whose real name was Kenneth Cherry Jr. was the driver of the Maserati, who was shot and killed as the Maserati hit a taxi. Clutch’s father, Kenneth Cherry Sr., expressed his grief for the loss of his son for news reporters.
The driver of the taxi cab that was killed was 62-year-old Michael Boldon, a Michigan native. He had just moved to Las Vegas to take care of his 93-year-old mother. His passenger has not yet been identified.
Boldon needed to get a job when he arrived in Las Vegas to take car of his mother. When he told family member that he had secured a job as a cab driver, they all laughed together. He loved the job, and loved telling stories about the passengers he met.
