Schaumburg firefighter/paramedics and Illinois State Police responded about 6:01 PM Wednesday responded to a multi-vehicle crash with injuries on Northbound Route 53 and Woodfield 42.042608,-88.030143. Rescuers received a report of a five-vehicle crash in the local lanes. IDOT reports the camera located the crash at northbound, south of Higgins Road in the right lanes. At least one person was transported to a local hospital.
Firefighters cleared the scene by about 6:35 p.m.
