Traffic surveillance video shows a semi-trailer truck rollover crash which hits a motorcycle.
A motorcycle rider was lucky to survive while waiting at a pedestrian crossing for a stoplight in Eastern China. The truck turned over when the driver was making a turn at an intersection. No injuries were reported.
Notice that the motorcyclist is in an improper position from the start. Since the motorcyclist is too far forward in the crosswalk, instead of behind the marked white line, the truck driver is forced to make a sharper turn, which may have contributed to the rollover. Even if the truck did rollover with the motorcyclist behind the white marker stop line, the motorcyclist would not have been struck by the trailer if he were behind that line.
