Arlington Heights police responded about 4:00 PM Wednesday to a report of a suspicious person in the area from from Thomas Middle School at Thomas Street and Arlington Heights Road to the area of the Hasbrook neighborhood near Kaspar Avenue and and Lynwood. Police received a report that a suspicious person followed a Thomas Middle School student from the school to their home near West Lynwood and North Kaspar. The victim went through several yards to try and evade the person. Every time they went back to a street the person was still looking at the child. The subject did not speak to the child.
The crime is reported to have occurred on January 16, 2013 at about 4:00 p.m.
The suspicious person was described as a male/Hispanic, age 20-30 years-old.
