Schaumburg police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 12:02 PM Thursday to a report of cardiac arrest at LIFETIME FITNESS, 900 E Higgins Rd, Schaumburg, IL. Police and firefighter/paramedics responded to the second floor at LIFETIME FITNESS to a report of a man in his 60’s unconscious and not breathing with CPR underway.
Within about five minutes, the man was reported to be conscious and breathing. LIFETIME FITNESS has Automatic External Defibrillators (AEDs) located in several locations in the fitness center. No word yet whether an AED was used.
