Ask Paul B: Help Your Fellow Woman/Man

... #ad▼

Dear Paul B Readers,

Are you lonely? Are you looking for love in all the wrong places? Please, people, please do NOT fall hook, line and sinker for these dating game magnets…They claw at your heartstrings, and they KNOW just how to get you to write that introductory fee of ONLY $495…Do you really think that this is the answer to your problems? There are so many dating “solutions,” that one can be so EXACT as to target a specific ethnic group, race, body type, age, religion, or even unmarried and MARRIED! Yep, now I’ve seen it all (or have I,) because you can now include married but looking for “action.” The sad disintegration, debasing, and declining society has now touched on all cylinders. It is neither illegal or banned in any state for our citizens to cruise the web in search of a playmate, married or otherwise. It is also not illegal to be foolish and ruin an otherwise untarnished reputation that takes a lifetime to create. I have to blame people that have way too much time on their hands with this faux pas. Why can’t we find a charity, or a senior center or soup kitchen to volunteer our free time at? Why can’t we spend a significant amount of time helping a family member with our free time (watching kids, walking a dog, reading to them, etc.).

When a dating business, such as the aforementioned thrive in a “down economy,” I know there are reasons that are un-explainable other than one of my favorite cliche’s of all time: idle time is the devil’s workshop… Get up, get out of the house, and help somebody out…they need your help big time.

  1. I haven’t seen one in a while but i met my wife by posting a free (30 words or less) ad in the Reader, a free Chicago publication. We did get divorced years later but are still together, tighter than ever. Almost 14 years! Truly my soulmate, and hers too- and we know that.
