Palatine police responded about 5:22 PM Saturday to a vehicle burglary in progress in the 500 block of East Diane Drive. Police received a report that a subject was discovered searching through a vehicle in a garage. The offender was described as a male, very tall, balding, and wearing a red and yellow jacket. He was last seen running toward Jarvis.
