Arlington Heights police received a report about 9:15 AM Monday of a church burglary at St. James Church, 821 north Arlington Heights Road Police received a report that a maintenance engineer heard loud subjects near the school about 10:00 p.m. Saturday but was unable to determine exactly where they were.
Sunday morning the maintenance man discovered a basement window on the south side of the school had been opened.
An unknown offender or offenders entered the kitchen and removed two cases of Coca Cola and broke three vases. One of the vases was used to cut a wire door window to a classroom. The offender(s) did not enter the classroom.
Damage is estimated at $20 for the vases,
$15 for the Coca Cola, and $150 for the broken classroom window.
The crime is reported to have occurred between December 8, 2012 at 4:00 p.m. and December 9, 2012 at 839 a.m.
