Arlington Heights police received a report about 9:12 AM Monday of a vehicle burglary in the 300 block of North Yale Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders burglarized a blue 2001 Chevy Cavalier and a gray 2001 Chevy Malibu.
A vehicle owner noticed the dome light was on in the Malibu, and change was removed from the center console. The owner checked the second vehicle and discovered that change was also missing from the Cavalier. A total of about $5 in changed was reported taken from both vehicles.
The crime is reported to have occurred between December 8, 2012 at 7 a.m. and December 9, 2012 at 5:01 a.m.
