Arlington Heights police responded about 2:50 AM Wednesday to a report of retail theft and disorderly conduct at Walgreens, 235 East Palatine Road. Police received a report that a Walgreen’s employee observed Perez opening a pack of gum and then leaving without paying for it. When the subject was approached by the female employee about paying for the gum, Perez swore at her, told her to go back in the store and walked menacingly toward her. Officers responded and found Perez, apparently intoxicated, in front of the store.
Police arrested Julio C Perez , 26 years-old of the 2100 block of North Queensburg in Palatine. Perez was charged with misdemeanor Disorderly Conduct. He posted cash bond and was released.
