Prospect Heights police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 5:08 AM Tuesday to a car fire in the 800 block of Piper Lane. Police and firefighters received a report of several cars on fire. Police arrived on the scene first and reported an active fire with one car burning. Firefighters worked on the scene for about 30 minutes. One vehicle was well-involved. Another vehicle was discovered with heat damage.
