VIDEO: Firefighters, police, and IDOT work to clear trucks on the outbound Kennedy Expressway very early Saturday morning.
Overnight motorists returning to the northwest suburbs from Chicago were hung up by a crash involving three semi-trailer trucks about 4:10 a.m. the outbound Kennedy Expressway, just west of Addison. Two semi-trailer trucks were jackknifed. No injuries were reported.
All lanes of the expressway were blocked intermittently while firefighters and IDOT workers worked to clear the trucks. A little snow was falling with rain, and the temperature was just above freezing at the time of the crash.
