Elk Grove Village police received a report about 10:19 AM Friday of a vehicle burglary at Avalon Banquets, 1905 East Higgins Road. Police received a report that the back window was shattered on a gray 2009 Honda Civic. It was not yet known what was taken in the vehicle burglary. The crime is reported to have occurred in the “last 30 minutes.”
The vehicle was parked in the southeast corner of the parking lot.
