Buffalo Grove police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 6:15 AM Friday to power lines down near Arlington Heights Road and Thomson Boulevard. Buffalo Grove firefighters reported discovering three main power lines down from pole to pole near Arlington Heights Thompson Boulevard — actually the 5000 block of Arlington Heights Road in Long Grove.
A power outage was also reported in the area. Long Grove firefighter/paramedics responded after the jurisdiction was clarified, and Com Ed could not give an immediate estimated time of arrival.
