Mount Prospect police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 7:20 AM Friday to a personal injury, extrication crash at Elmhurst Road and Golf Road. Police report a head-on crash with a extra units needed for traffic assistance. Elmhurst Road southbound shut down at Huntington Commons. At least two people are reported injured in the crash.
A pin-in response was requested by firefighters at the scene.
A Honda CRV and Hyundai Santa Fe were involved in the crash.
