Macy’s Day Parade Brings Cheer to Storm-Hit NYC — The annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York is putting a festive mood in the air in a city still coping with the aftermath of Superstorm Sandy.
The 86th Annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade steps off at 77th Street and Central Park West in New York City at 9:00 a.m. EST. The parade proceeds to Columbus Circle, turns onto Central Park South and then to a new path via 6th Avenue/Avenue of the Americas to 34th Street. The Parade makes its final turn west at 34th Street and ends at 7th Avenue in front of Macy’s Herald Square.
