Fraud Attempt at Schaumburg Costco: Yep, That’s Not Mommy’s Name, Apparently

Schaumburg police responded about 2:41 PM Sunday to a report of fraudulent activity at Costco, 1375 North Meacham Road. Police received a report that a woman attempted to enroll at Costco, and attempted to purchase about $3,000 worth of products. When a Costco employee asked for more identification, a child with the woman said “that’s not Mommy’s name” and the woman promptly left in a black Toyota 4Runner.

Schaumburg police are investigating.
