Arlington Heights police received a report about 9:38 AM Friday of criminal damage to property in the 2600 block of Chapel Hill just southeast of Arlington Heights Road and Hintz Road. Police received a report that a mailbox was smashed overnight. Multiple mail boxes have recently been reported damaged in Buffalo Grove near Carlyle Lane, Stanton Drive, and Thompson Boulevard.
In September 2012 over 20 mail boxes were damaged in the neighborhood of 700 block South Brockway Street, Palatine.
In August 2012 several mail boxes were damaged on Knox Street, Delgado Drive, East Lenox Lane, 1200 block of North Ashland.
In July 2012 several mail boxes were damaged on North Lakeview Drive, Palatine.
