Northwest Community Healthcare is hosting a family fun open house event at its Immediate Care Center in Buffalo Grove on Saturday, Oct. 20, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. While a visit to an NCH Immediate Care Center is often unexpected, NCH is inviting families to make their next visit to the facility a planned Saturday family outing.
NCH’s open house event at the Immediate Care Center in Buffalo Grove will feature crafts, activities and food for the entire family. There will be balloon twisting and pumpkin painting for kids of all ages, free blood pressure screenings, and tasty fall treats for all guests. What’s more, guests will be able to see the newly remodeled interior of the Immediate Care Center, as well as learn about the medical services provided at the facility. So, the next time that “uh-oh” requires a visit to the Immediate Care Center in Buffalo Grove, mom, dad and the kids will take some comfort knowing what to expect and who will be caring for them.
The Immediate Care Center in Buffalo Grove first opened in 1980 and has continued to meet the needs of area residents with convenient and high quality medical care when and where it matters most. Today, the Center is staffed by board-certified immediate care physicians and nurses who offer responsive outpatient care 365 days a year. Treatment is provided to children and adults for non life-threatening minor injuries and illnesses ranging from broken bones, sprains and cuts to flu symptoms, sore throats and earaches. Outpatient lab and imaging services also are available.
The NCH Immediate Care Center in Buffalo Grove is located at 15 South McHenry Road at the intersection of Lake-Cook Road and Route 83 in Buffalo Grove. Accessible parking is located in the front and side of the building.
