Elk Grove Village police responded about 11:36 PM Saturday to a report of a stabbing at the Thornton’s gas station at Devon and Elmhurst Road. Police received a report that a man slashed another man in the forehead. Police arrived within a minute and reported the situation was secure.
Initially police received a report that the offenders fled in a vehicle southbound on Elmhurst Road. Later police confirmed that the vehicle actually fled northbound on Elmhurst Road.
The vehicle was described as a gray, newer model Chevrolet Monte Carlo with driver side quarter panel damage. The offending suspect is described as a male/Hispanic with short dark hair, wearing a gray sweatshirt and khaki pants. The driver was described as a female/white 5’10” 140 LBS with blond hair and blue eyes. Another passenger was described as a female/white 5’3 with a heavyset build, blond hair with black highlights, and wearing blue jeans.
The suspect is wanted for aggravated battery, and is considered armed with a knife.
Firefighter/paramedics were called to the scene and transported the victim to a hospital.
