Palatine police responded about 6:17 AM Friday to a report of a hit-and-run crash near Northwest Highway and Creekside Drive, just west of Route 53. Police received a report that a white box truck (license 295 049D) hit the victim’s vehicle and fled the scene of the crash. The offending vehicle would have driver’s side damage. The vehicle was last seen northbound on Route 53 from Rand Road (yes Rand Rd).
