NATIONAL TAKE-BACK PROGRAM – The Arlington Heights Police Department has announced that it will once again participate in the National Take-Back Program. This is a country wide initiative to remove potentially dangerous controlled substances from homes. Residents may bring in unwanted, unused and expired pharmaceuticals and other medications.
NO LIQUID PRODUCTS, INTRAVENOUS SOLUTION OR SYRINGES WILL BE ACCEPTED.
THE DISPOSAL IS ANONYMOUS AND FREE.

The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) has scheduled the National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day which will take place on Saturday, September 29, 2012, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. This is a great opportunity for those who missed the previous events, or who have subsequently accumulated unwanted, unused prescription drugs, to safely dispose of those medications.
The last event, which received an overwhelming response nationawide, was on April 28, 2012.
