Palatine police responded about 2:29 AM Saturday to a ‘man with a gun’ call at McDonald’s, 1576 North Rand Road. Police received a report that a man with a gun was running into the bushes and was last seen at a “Mexican restaurant” next door. He then headed southbound and was expected to be in the Winslowe area south of McDonald’s.
The subject ran from police near 1503 North Rand Road.
No confirmation of any arrest or charges. Also no other crime report was mentioned related to the “Man with a Gun” report.
