Palatine police and firefighter/paramedics and Illinois State Police responded about 8:21 AM Monday to a crash on northbound Route 53 just south of Dundee Road. Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report that a green Honda and a green Chevy crashed. Illinois State police were already on the scene and called for paramedics.
