Prospect Heights police responded about 7:19 PM Wednesday to a residential burglary “in progress” 914 East Old Willow Road. Police received a report from a third party that an unknown person was trying to break into an apartment unit. It was unknown if the break-in was occurring from an interior door or an exterior door.
The offenders were described as two male juveniles wearing black hoodies. The offenders were last seen walking along a fence line near the apartment building.
