Arlington Heights police received a report of a theft at the Sprint store, 720 East Rand Road.
Police received a report that the offender entered the Sprint store, walked around and left. He later returned and asked to look at the demo phones before cutting the security wires on three of them. He fled the store with a stolen blue Samsung Galaxy S3 valued at $550, a white Galaxy S3 valued at $550, and a white Galaxy S1 11 valued at $500.
The offender is described as a male/Hispanic in his mid-20s, 5’10” 180 LBS to 200 LBS. He was described as having a buzz cut and being clean shaven. He was wearing a white T-shirt and black sweat pants.
Staff received an alert about a similarly describe offender stealing from a Sprint store in Glenview. Vehicle is described as an early 1990s Toyota Supra with black primer paint.
The crime is reported to have occurred Friday, August 24, 2012 between 4:40 p.m.-5:00 p.m.
