Schaumburg police responded about 5:09 PM Sunday to a hit-and-run, private property crash in the parking lot of Extra Value Wine, 2375 Bode Road. Police received a report that the driver and two passengers ran from the offending vehicle. The offending vehicle matched the description of a stolen auto reported about about 90 minutes earlier — a black Toyota Corolla.
The offenders that fled were described as two male/white subjects wearing brown shorts and brown shirts, and a male/black wearing a white T-shirt and a black or brown hoodie and carrying a bottle of vodka. One of the male/white subjects was carrying a back pack. One male/white subject was also described as having long, blond hair and wearing a Batman T-shirt.
The male/white subjects ran west on Bode Road, and the male/black subject ran north on Knollwood.
The two male/white suspects were in custody by about 5:50 p.m. with the assistance of Hoffman Estates police. Both suspects were transported in custody to Schaumburg Police Department Headquarters.
As of 5:50 p.m. Sunday the male/black suspect may have remained at large.
