Police in Milwaukee County, Wisconsin early in the incident said one suspect had been “put down” outside a Sikh temple and that they did not know if other shooters are inside the building. Authorities were called to the temple Sunday morning with a report of shots fired at about 10:25 a.m. CDT.

A police officer has been shot multiple times, but is expected survive at the Sikh Temple of Wisconsin, 7512 South Howell Avenue in Oak Creek Wisconsin. An offender/shooter has been shot by the police officer in front of the Sikh temple. The offender/shooter was killed.
The suspect has been identified as Wade Michael Page, an active duty military member of the U.S. Army.
Including the shooter; four people are reported dead inside the temple, and three people are reported dead outside the temple.
Police have asked news helicopters not to feed video of aerial views to the public, because the views could threaten tactical operations.
Several people are reported injured with gunshot wounds inside of the temple. Currently police are operating with the belief that multiple perpetrators might be involved at the crime scene.
