Some showers and thunderstorms Thursday morning amounted to less than one inch of rain. The heaviest rain has already passed, and radar shows diminishing precipitation images. Showers and thunderstorms, are expected to clear before 1 p.m.

Today’s forecast calls for a high near 79. West northwest wind around 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.

Tonight Partly cloudy, with a low around 56. Northwest wind 5 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 15 mph.
