Mount Prospect police responded about 7:33 AM Sunday to a suspicious incident at Forest Cove Apartments, 1718 Forest Cove Apartments. Police received a report that two subjects were checking car doors in the apartment complex parking lot. The subjects were described as two male/Hispanic subjects in their 20’s — one wearing a black shirt and one wearing a gray shirt, and both wearing jeans.
Police arrived in the area and were in contact with the subjects within one minute. Both subjects were investigated by police. No word on any arrests.
Multiple vehicle burglaries and criminal damage to vehicle cases have been reported in the neighborhood recently.
