Mount Prospect Police Deputy Chief Tim Janowick graduated from Northwestern University’s Center of Public Safety, Executive Management Program on Friday, August 24, 2012. the Executive Management Program provides law enforecement policy-making executives with effective skills to manage today’s changin law enforcement environment. The three week program challenges participants to engage interactively. The program questions, investigates, and examines the critical issues that shape the current law enforcement operating environment.
Deputy Chief Janowick is an 18-year veteran of the Mount Prospect Police Department. He was promoted to Sergeant in February 2003, Commander in May 2007, and Deputy Chief in September 2010. Tim Janowick is currently Deputy Chief of the Mount Prospect Police Department Field Operations Division.
Mount Prospect Police Chief Michael Semkiu recognizes Janowick’s accomplishment saying, “Deputy Chief Janowick’s graduation from the program speaks to his commitment to advancing his professional training and education, and positions him well to continue in his current leadership role as a member of the department’s command staff.”
