A double-decker Megabus traveling from Chicago to Kansas City slammed into a concrete bridge-support pillar along a southern Illinois interstate near Litchfield.
One person was killed and over 20 injured after a Megabus Double-decker bus crash on Interstate 55 near Litchfield, Illinois and about 55 miles northeast of St. Louis, Missouri.
Early reports are that a tire on the Chicago-Kansas City bus may have blown before the crash.
