Organizers and visitors are keeping their fingers crossed for summer weather during the London 2012 Olympics. The UK is currently languishing in a trough of low pressure, and has just seen the wettest June on record.
Temperatures of more than 100 degrees were forecast in Philadelphia, authorities warned of excessive heat in the Midwest and in the mid-Atlantic.
