Craig Alexander is coming back to Runners High n’ Tri on Thursday, July 12th and he is bringing a special friend along, six-time Ironman Champion Dave Scott!

That’s right Craig Alexander and Dave Scott in one night at one location — the coolest store with the hottest running products.

Thursday, July 12th, 2012 is your chance to hear two of the greatest triathletes of all time talk about the sport, Ironman, Lance Armstrong and plenty more.

Runners High n’ Tri, located at 121 West Campbell Street, also has special prizes for everyone who attends.

Thursday night before our event, ten people who sign up, get a chance to join Craig for a VIP dinner, participate in a photo shoot and an autograph session — a private hour to talk, ask questions, have a drink, and learn from the best of the best.

Also, Friday morning Craig will be leading a group run and breakfast for 10 lucky people.

People who sign up for the event qualify for both prizes. Show up and get ready for a great night! We have a pre-event expo and plenty of other prizes to give away.

A previous Runner’s High n’ Tri event with Chrissie Wellington sold out fast, so Runner’s High n’ Tri is capping this event to give everyone an opportunity to win as well as enjoy the night.

Call or come into Runners High n’ Tri, 847-670-9255 to get your tickets for A Night Of Champions with Craig Alexander and Dave Scott.

Craig Alexander is an Australian triathlete who is the 2008, 2009 & 2011 Ironman Triathlon World Champion. He is only the fourth man to win the Ironman World Championship two years in a row — the others were Dave Scott, Mark Allen, and Tim DeBoom. Alexander is also the fourth man to win the Ironman World Championship three times, and is currently the record holder for the Ironman World Championship — held in October.

Dave Scott is a U.S. triathlete and is the first six-time Ironman Triathon World Champion. He won the Ironman Triathlon in Hawaii six times in 1980, 1982, 1983, 1984, 1986, and 1987. Mark Allen is the only other trithlete to match these six titles eight years later. Scott is also nicknamed “The Man.”

The Ironman Triathlon in Hawaii consists of a 2.4-mile (3.86 km) swim, a 112-mile (180.25 km) bike and a marathon 26.2-mile (42.2 km) run, raced in that order and without a break.
