Schaumburg police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 10:50 PM Tuesday to an activated fire alarm at the Spring Valley Nature Sanctuary Nature Center. Firefighters arrived to find a small fire. Firefighters upgraded their response to a working fire, but the fire was immediately extinguished.
A fire investigator was immediately called to the scene.
