Wildfire season is just getting started in California and firefighters are anticipating a bad year. Crews practiced on real live flames in Moorpark, California on a ranch typical of the Southern California landscape vulnerable to wildfires.
Chad Cook, Ventura County Fire Department explains that communications, fireground knowledge and wildland skills are emphasized on piece of land with fast fuels, but very limited chance for escape of the fire.
