Randy J. Dettloff, 41, was driving a 1986 Harley-Davidson in LaGrange, Wisconsin, with a female passenger, when he apparently lost control of the motorcycle early Saturday afternoon, June 9, 2012 on County Truck Highway H just north of Greening Road
Detloff and a female passenger were thrown from the motorcycle, according to police. Dettloff was transported by medical helicopter from the scene to a Milwaukee-area hospital, according to the Walworth County sheriff’s office. Detloff suffered severe head trauma and was pronounced dead on Tuesday. Neither Dettloff nor the female passenger were wearing a helmet.
The female passenger in the crash, Holly Strever, 37, of Delavan, Wisconsin, is believed to have received minor injuries in the crash.
Dettloff was a father of two children, and was a general superintendent for M.G. Electric. He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 134.
