Greece Central School District officials have promised to discipline the four students to the “fullest extent” allowable following an extensive investigation. The video shows insults calling her fat, poor, and sweaty.
“Karen, Did you get that purse on lawaway?”
“She got her purse from the garbage can at Walgreens”
“No she got it from Dollar Tree”
“No from Family Dollar, but you don’t have a family because they all killed themselves because they don’t want to be near you.”
“Why are you looking at me like that?”
Karen Klein told reporters at a press conference that she does not plan to press charges against the four seventh-grade students on the bus.
Verbal abuse of a bus monitor captured in a 10-minute cellphone video by Western New York middle schoolers and posted to YouTube has garnered more than 2 million views and prompted a police investigation.
