Bartlett police alerted area police departments of two suspects wanted for an armed robbery that occurred about 3:17 p.m. Wednesday at a TCF Bank at Stearns and South Bartlett Road — 125 East Stearns Road.
There was also an armed robbery earlier in the day at a Hoffman Estates Jewel and/or TCF. Suspects at both locations have similar descriptions. No further details available at the Hoffman Estates location.
One suspect displayed a gun in his waistband at the Stearns and Bartlett Road location.
The offenders are described as two male/black suspects 5’10, thin build, wearing black and red ski masks The offenders fled in a 2000 (approximate) red SUV with gray bottom molding, and with rust around the wheel well. There were additional passengers in the vehicle.
Offenders were last seen westbound on Strearns Road from Route 59.
